The Shrieks is a Rock band out of NYC. The city feeds our senses, and comes through in the music we create. Our songs are a fresh vantage point onto the cauldron we live in, and what makes us humans so beautiful and so ugly. The cosmos doesn't care what happens to us on earth, or why we harm our own planet in the name of any belief. We have contaminated much of everything on this planet, the water we drink and the air we breathe. Our music is a loud whisper that hopes to encourage us to salvage the humanity in humans. Music has always been a common language that connects everyone everywhere, and it’s a pleasure we share.  Plato said it best: 

"Music is a moral law.It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and charm and gaiety to life and to everything"
